fiafia night

On the 7th of April it was the fiafia night! My Aunt and I went to our dressing room, the hall. Our dress was a little bit itchy  that I try to walk and trying to run. My dress was traditional and gorgeous with a long decorated tekiteki  in my hair.

I was little bit nervous about going on stage in front of all the people that came to see the kids. When the fiafia show started, I was trembling when the kapa haka singing and doing the haka too. Finally it was our turn the tongan girls. I was caught up in the moment because we were about to perform in front of everyone.

Swimming

Under the water I tried my best to go faster by kicking straight. Diving into the pool, I held my breath as long as I could.  The things I like about swimming is trying new things in the pool.

My Cousin's wedding!!!

On the 2nd of April, it was my cousin called Paula and it was his  wedding. It was held at Auckland Botanic garden. When we got there the place was we came early because it starts at 1 30. the,n  it started to rain so we had it inside.

So it start. The bride was called Faith. She look very very beautiful with her makeup and her pretty dress. The flower girls was light purple because Faith favorite color is purple. The walk line was pretty because it has purple petals on the mat and the purple flowers on the side.

After that everyone wanted to take a photo of Paula and Faith. Then they went outside to go in the limos. My auntie called Tepola she went with us when my dad and my other auntie called Mele went where they had the dinner and the dances. Then Paula and Faith said about there life and

How they will live together. Then it was finish.

The frog

One day, a small cricket was floating on a leaf. Then a slimy green frog was looking around in the forest for something to eat. But when he saw a small cricket and he said to himself “ this little cricket looks delicious for my tummy”. So he was gripping on the the tree so he can get his meal. He outstretched his tongue, then the cricket ran away.The frog was really angry that he cried because he didn't have anything to eat.

The Bombs

Leaping off the rock god did a Humongous dive. God  also did a fountain of spray everywhere even the water went on the boy. There were also rocky cliffs that the man and the boy did massive bombs off. The man did flips going forwards and backwards.

The New Flag

It is time to change the flag because  people from other countries say that our island was Australia. Just because our flag looks just like the same because it has the Union Jack and the four red stars.

With the black colour and the silver fern in the middle, the flag represents The All Black  who are the rugby team for New Zealand and also the Silver Ferns who are the netball team also from Zealand too.

I think we need more designs to the flag because it needs more colour to it. So it can be so more beautiful and fantastic for New Zealand to see.

Crossing the Rirver

A woman has two dogs, three rabbits and lettuce.

She must cross a river.

Her boat is unable to transport all in one crossing.

If she transported the dogs, the rabbits would eat the lettuce.

If she transported the lettuce, the dogs would eat the rabbits.

Question: How is she able to transport them all safely?
