a letter to Pavillion

Dear Pavilion

Jasmine here, how are you guys? At my school (Rowandale ), I made good friends that will always be with me when I’m alone. They have 5 playgrounds and 26 classrooms. I have one question for all of you. What are you guys doing for Tongan language week? I miss you guys so much. All I want is to come back to Point England with my fanau. Here at our house we have our half cousin and half brother(Matthew) and my mum’s sister(Michelle) is staying with us. At our new house it is beautiful and warm for all of us.Hope you have a great year without me, I wish I can  join with all of you.

My Dream bedroom

Jasmine's Garden

In my garden my flowers have Rotational Symmetry.

This means that my flowers Rotate 4 times and look the same around it.

In my garden my butterfly has Reflective Symmetry.

This means that after you do one part of the wing if you open it the other side it becomes the same.

In my garden my pathway shows Tessellation.

To make my pathway I Tessellated each shape so that it can have no gaps look the same.

This means that  pathways as no gaps because we have to tessellate with only one shape or it won’t look right.

How I feel about my artwork or the whole process.	Creating my artwork made me feel proud because I tried my best to paint my city. Also I like how draw my city.
What did I enjoy most of all or what was the best thing about my painting.	Most of all I enjoyed about my city is painting my city in France because  it is a wonderful thing to do. Also it is a peace thing to do everyday.
What did I find hard or I didn’t like.	The hardest thing was painting Inside the small bits. also doing the vividering because it is hard to see the line because the paint had covered the line.
How can I do my art better next time?	What I should do next time I should  go slowly drawing because I was rushing so I can be done first. But I remembered that Art take a lot of time.
What was the most interesting thing I did or my friends did.	The most interesting artwork that my friend called Eden because she take her time. Also  she put lots of details.
What did I learn most about?	I learn most about is how to draw slowly. Also to paint really slowly too.

Going to Te tuhi

First thing in the morning, the teachers(Mr Moran, Miss davis, Miss King) Put us into teams to go to Te Tuhi. The first group went on the bus first and the second group stayed behind and did our work.


When it was the end of morning tea time it was our turn to go to Te Tuhi and the first group had returned. When we walked onto the bus we were really noisy because some boys were singing very terrible.


As we got there we walked in 1 beautiful line going inside and set down to wait for a man called Jeremy. Jeremy shows a room that we were making our dream houses. After that, the class walk into the Art gallery. We saw a picture that didn’t looked right but Jeremy told us that didn’t used their . But they use their hands to feel how to draw their Face without looking. After that Jeremy took us to two dark rooms with a movie inside. Then It’s was time to eat. After that it was time to go back to school.

I have a new Duffy book called EJ spy school, Birthday Secrets.  I love my Duffy book because aI always wanted to be a spy in real life

5 Senses

Red tastes like a crunchy  apple going down our throat.

Red sounds like a heart filling up with love.

Red smell like a sweet strawberry about to go down your throat.

Red looks like my red uniform that we wear for school.

Red feels like a red soft and cuddly pillow.

The Leaning Tower of Pisa

The Eiffel Tower

In Paris The Eiffel tower is a masterpiece of workmanship and is a golden steel structure when the sun goes on the golden steel it looks beautiful.

You can climb the Eiffel tower. The Eiffel tower is 320 meters long just like the sky tower. It is an iron lattice tower.

My dream bedroom

tunnels	The tunnels go everywhere. So the tunnels goes out the door to the swimming pool, to my dressing room,the TV and the trampoline too.
Around the TV	Around the Tv there are three purple bean bags and a warm swimming pool to swim in while watching the big TV.
Swimming pool	The swimming pool has a slide that goes high up where the trees are all the way down to the swimming pool.
Movie room	In the Movie room there are 11 swimming pools. While watching movies I eat ice cream because it’s so yummy. There are 200 movies to watch from the swimming pool. Also if I want any food that I like they serve it to me while  watching  movies.
Roller coster	There is a roller coaster that goes to the dance floor all the way to the swimming pool outside.
Pet shop	In my pet shop there are lots of pets inside. I can get one free. If I want a different pet I give it back and get another one.
Dance floor	On the dance floor you can dance to any song you like and if you want something to eat or drink there is a bench beside it so you don’t need  to walk to the kitchen to get a drink or something to eat.

the Colosseum

The Colosseum was built   2000 years ago and it is very very ancient. The Colosseum was made by stone.

It was a big building but then there  was an earthquake then the Colosseum had broken down and 50, 000 animals had died too. but some of the parts of the Colosseum were lift behind.

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mother's in the world.

19th Tuesday April 2016!!!

When it was nice and warm outside I played tag with my best brother Motekiai and cute little sister Sikini. I put Sikini on my back and carried her while running away from Motekiai or chasing after him. Sikini was heavy but she was having fun laughing.

I also helped Mum by clearing the table of books, pens, cups ready for dinner. I tidied the coffee table too.

I was helping Mum with cooking dinner, by cutting the tomato’s and broccoli. We were making lamb curry. I enjoyed curry with rice it taste so good.

After dinner I took my plate to the sink also to wash it too.And we watched a movie before going to bed.

30th Saturday 2016

In the morning we were waiting for about 20 minutes before midday for my Aunty Diane and her daughters to come a drop off cousin Carol to stay with us. After that they went back to Mount Eden.

We all got into the van to go to Otara to look at another house. The house had four bedrooms and one bathroom. What made me happy because the rooms were bigger. But the kitchen was too small for us to get our food and the fourth bedroom was actually the dining room.

When we got home I tidied up the blocks on the floor and put the cushions nicely too. It was messy but it wasn’t hard for me just a little bit hard for me. I don’t like tidying up very much. We watched tv series for the rest of the afternoon and after dinner we watched Ratatouille before going to bed.

27 Wednday April 2016

In the morning I woke up and tidied the bed for to night.

After that my little sister Sikini left her blocks so I tidied up and put it in the bag. Also I tidied the table after when my dad finished.

After that we all got ready to visit our cousin’s house when we got there we all went outside and played rugby. It was fun playing with them but it was time to go.

1st May Sunday 2016

It’s church day and the last day of the holidays, I was so excited to go back to school.

I folded the blankets and the washing and put them away and tidied up the lounge. We all had showers and got dressed for church.

We went to church and when we went inside, there were lots of people there. After singing, my friend Melody and I went to our choir practice. I got to stand in the front row.

When we got home, we got changed and went shopping because we needed food for our lunches for the first day of school.

17 Sunday April 2016!!!

It was a beautiful morning and we all got into the car and went to church. There were lots of people there, and I went to my choir. When it finished we had a little play chasing around and then went home.

After getting changed I tidied up the blocks and did the beds. I also vacuumed the floor in the living room and the bedrooms.

We watched tv for the rest of the day.

18 Monday April 2016

In the morning we woke up and got dressed, and I folded two red blankets also I tidied all of the beds.

Mum got Sikini ready and packed her lunch and bag ready for daycare. We all went to take Sikini and stayed there to help out.

As we got home I did a little clean up and we had dinner then we watched one movie and went to bed.
